Relaxation and Honeymoons
Before becoming discovered as a premiere wildlife destination, Madagascar was known for its beautiful and un-crowded beaches. Indeed many places in the country fit the ideal of a true “tropical paradise”. Some beaches are easily accessible, while there are also a few hotels in remote and pristine spots that are reached by charter flights. Even visitors interested in wildlife or culture can add a few days of beach relaxation to the end of their tour. Nosy Be island, in the North, was recently voted one of the most beautiful beach destinations in the world. Diego-Suarez is situated on one of the most beautiful systems of bays in the world. Sainte Marie island is famous for its beaches, and for excellent whale watching between July and September. Madagascar is a great place for a few days of relaxation at the end of your tour, or a full beach holiday.
